I'm Sam from Dream Workshops Amsterdam, and I'm here to help you get started.
I'm running a Arts & Craft Teacher Training Workshop where I'll guide you through the essentials of turning your skill into a successful workshop.
Workshop Details:
Date: Sunday, 31st May
Time: 11:00 AM
Location: OBA CC Amstel
Duration: 90 minutes
In this 90-minute session, we will cover:
Workshop Lesson Planning & Organisation
Storytelling, Delivery & Pacing
Setting Audience Expectations
Finding & Negotiating with Venues
Client Enquiries & How to Cost Your Workshop
Basic Marketing, Ticketing & Social Media
Room Setup & AV Equipment
These skills are applicable to anyone wanting to teach a hands-on workshop, regardless of your craft!
Please bring the following to the workshop:
If you have it, an example of the art or craft item you want to teach in your workshop.
Please think of an introduction for yourself.
It shoud be a brief introduction Including your name, a little background about yourself, home country, job, etc.
Whatever you are comforable sharing.
Introduce your workshop, what it is and why you like it.
Cost:
This workshop runs on a voluntary donation basis.
There is no pressure to pay.
On the day, you can donate via cash or Tikkie QR code if you wish.
If you choose not to donate, we simply ask that you share information about this workshop on your social media.
Why am I doing this?
I run the Amsterdam Origami Club and Dream Workshops Amsterdam. I'm offering this in the hope of finding like-minded people to start a collective of arts & crafts teachers here in Amsterdam.
