Amsterdam Figure Drawing at Spong Atelier is an art club for traditional figure drawing. Sessions take place in an upstairs studio with good lighting. Artists work from a live model, either costume or nude, with a focus on the Reilly method. Only traditional media are allowed; no digital devices or photography during poses. Events include open figure drawing sessions with either two hours of short poses (2, 20 minutes) or three hours of short poses (5, 20 minutes). Participants must bring their own art supplies, but drawing boards are provided. Example events include figure drawing quick poses (5, 20 minutes). Arriving early is recommended so sessions can start on time.
