Sports & Fitness Club·Amsterdam

Learn how to play the fastest sport on two feet! Lacrosse is a fast-paced team sport that combines elements of basketball, hockey, and soccer. Players use a stick with a netted head to catch, carry, and pass a small rubber ball, with the goal of shooting it into the opponent’s net. It’s played worldwide and is one of the fastest-growing sports in Europe.

The Amsterdam Lacrosse Club was established in 2004 as one of the first lacrosse clubs in the Netherlands. Since then, the game has grown – lacrosse is now widely represented in the Netherlands and an official national lacrosse federation (Nederlandse Lacrosse Bond).

But if you’ve never played lacrosse, don’t worry! Our club is not only a place for experienced players, but we also encourage anyone curious about the sport to come try it out. We are happy to teach you! On top of practices, our club offers social events like borrels, pub quiz nights, arts and crafts nights, and is also the home of the infamous Chicken Chase! It is a perfect way to meet new people in the city, open to both Nederlanders and internationals.

Every week on Tuesday/Friday we practice at Sportpark Middenmeer from 20:00 to 22:00. Hope to see you there! Join the pride!
