Bibliotheek Den Haag is a book club that offers a wide range of activities beyond just reading. It hosts regular gatherings focused on books, language, music, and creative workshops. Events include the Queer Book Club on Mondays and De Surinaamse Boekenclub also on Mondays. For families, there is Baby- en Dreumescafé and Peutertijd on Tuesdays, and Peuterpret on Fridays, all aimed at young children. On Thursdays, there is a Lunchconcert in collaboration with the Koninklijk Conservatorium. Other activities include The Biodiversity Collage, which explores the richness of nature and our reliance on healthy ecosystems, monthly writing workshops by Huis van Gedichten where participants experiment with different writing forms, and a workshop to create your own moving puppet, where you can design its clothes and accessories.
