Let’s be honest: this isn’t a wild party or a late-night dancing event. Instead, it’s a wonderful, relaxed opportunity for genuine connection.

Dear 40+ Expats and Locals,
While many AIC mingling events naturally attract a younger crowd, we know there is a vibrant community of Gen X and early Millennial expats in Amsterdam looking for a different pace. Created by popular demand, this monthly gathering is exclusively tailored for our members in their 40s and beyond.

Step into a sophisticated yet cozy atmosphere, sip a great drink, and enjoy meaningful conversations with like-minded internationals who share your background, life stage, and interests. Whether you are looking to expand your professional network, forge deep friendships, or simply unwind with great company, this evening is for you.

💡 HOW IT WORKS & PRO TIPS
- 🕒 Show up early: If you’re coming solo or feel a bit hesitant, arriving right at 19:00 is the best strategy. It’s the easiest time to introduce yourself and join initial conversations.
- 🍷 Grab a drink & mingle: The concept is effortless. Grab a drink, bring your smile, and strike up a chat. Everyone here is open, welcoming, and eager to connect.
- 🤝 Real Community: AIC events aren't just about small talk; they are about building a lasting community of people who appreciate good company and genuine connections.
