Silent Reading Afternoon 📖🤫
Every other Sunday, once the shop closes, we dim the lights, light the candles and turn Blush & Bound into a quiet little reading room. Bring the book you can’t put down, or find your next one on our shelves, grab a drink, and settle in.
No discussions, no small talk, no pressure. Just you, your book and a room full of people doing exactly the same.
How it works
- We open the doors at 17:00, and the reading starts once everyone’s settled in with a drink
- Phones on silent, please. The only notifications tonight come from your book
- Fancy a chat? We’ll leave a few minutes at the end for anyone who wants to share what they’re reading

Good to know
- Sunday · 17:00 – 18:30
- Blush & Bound, Amsterdamsestraatweg 44, Utrecht
- €10 per person, including a drink of your choice (+ booking fee)
- Bring your own book or pick one up in the shop
- Spots are limited to keep it cosy
- A minimum of 6 readers is needed for the session to go ahead. If we don’t reach 6, we’ll let you know by the Friday before and you’ll receive a full refund
