It started with a very simple thought:
Wouldn’t Sundays be nicer if we had a table to gather around?
A table with homemade cake, coffee, people we know — and people we haven’t met yet.
So we decided to create one. 🤍
Last month, we hosted our very first Sunday Cake Club. It was small. A few friends came, someone brought a friend we’d never met before, we put our cakes on the table and spent the afternoon eating, talking and getting to know each other.
And it was exactly the kind of Sunday we wanted more of.
So we’re doing it again. This time, we’re making the table a little bigger.
Sunday Cake Club is for anyone. Come with a friend or come by yourself. Bring something you’ve baked if that makes you happy — but please don’t feel like you have to. You don’t need to be a baker. You don’t need to know anyone. You just need to feel like spending a slow Sunday afternoon around a table with some new people.
There will be homemade cakes and pastries, coffee and tea, and hopefully lots of conversations with people you might otherwise never have met.
