About this event

A slow and cozy creative afternoon in Amsterdam
Come spend a relaxed afternoon exploring texture, shape and colour while creating your own textured artwork on canvas ✨
There is something especially enjoyable about working with texture paste: you don’t need to know how to draw or have any previous experience. During the workshop, I’ll show you a few simple techniques for creating raised forms and combining texture with acrylic paint. From there, you’ll be free to experiment and take your artwork in your own direction.
I’ll prepare a selection of references and ideas to help you get started. You can follow one of them, combine different elements or bring your own reference if you already have something in mind. The goal is not to make a perfect copy, but to create something that feels personal to you.
The workshop takes place in my living room in Amsterdam — a cozy, home-like space where we can create, chat, listen to music and enjoy a little break from the everyday rush.
✨ Small group: up to 6 participants, so I’ll have time to help everyone individually.
⏱ Time: 15:00–18:00
The creative process usually takes around 2.5–3 hours.
🎨 Everything is included: all art materials, canvas and guidance throughout the workshop, as well as tea, coffee and chocolate chip cookies 🍪
No previous experience is needed - just come as you are and enjoy the process.
⚠️ Please note: texture paste needs time to dry, so your artwork may still be wet at the end of the session. You’re welcome to leave it with me and collect it later once it has fully dried.
