Booking questions and guests

Learn who is coming before they arrive, with your own questions and guest details on every booking.

Adding booking questions

1. When creating or editing an event, open Booking questions
2. Type each question. Attendees answer in their own words.
3. Mark a question Required if it must be answered before booking

Good uses: dietary needs for a supper club, experience level for a run, what someone is reading for a book club.

How attendees answer

Questions appear during checkout, after choosing how many tickets. Required questions must be answered before the booking completes.

Guests on multi-ticket bookings

When someone books more than one ticket, they give each guest's full name and email. Guests get their own invite email, and your booking questions are answered for every guest, so you know about everyone in the group and not only the person who booked.

Where you see the answers

• Approval events: answers appear under Their answers on each request, with guest details, so you can decide with the full picture
• Guests tab: each row shows the booker's answers. Group bookings show the number of tickets and the guests' names, for example "3 tickets" and "With Noor Visser, Tom de Wit". The door view shows the names too.
• Export CSV: includes the booker's answers and a Guests column with each guest's name and email
