Getting a refund
Last updated 21 August 2026
Plans change. Here's how refunds work on Weeknights.
Requesting a refund
Refunds are issued by the event host:
- Go to Tickets and open your ticket
- Click Can't make it? Request a refund
- This opens an email to the host - tell them you'd like to cancel
The host can refund your ticket in full. Refunds go back to your original payment method, typically arriving within 5-10 business days depending on your bank.
When refunds are automatic
- The event is cancelled: every paid ticket is refunded automatically, and you'll receive an email confirming it
- You never paid: if an approved request expires before you pay, there's nothing to refund - you were never charged
Pending requests
If your request hasn't been approved yet, you don't need a refund - you can cancel the request yourself from your ticket and nothing is charged.
What happens to your spot
Once refunded, your ticket is cancelled and the spot is released - if the event has a waitlist, it goes to the next person.
