Payouts and fees
Here's everything you need to know about getting paid for your events.
Platform fees
Weeknights charges a single platform fee on paid tickets:
Standard rate: 5%
This is the only fee deducted from your ticket sales. Stripe payment processing costs are covered by Weeknights out of this fee — you never pay Stripe fees separately.
Note: Early-adopter clubs may have promotional rates that differ from the standard fee.
For very low-priced tickets (under ~€10), the effective fee may be slightly higher than 5% to cover minimum payment processing costs.
Free events are always free — no fees for free RSVPs.
Example breakdown
For a €20 ticket:
- Ticket price: €20.00
- Weeknights fee (5%): €1.00
- You receive: €19.00
When you get paid
Payouts happen automatically through Stripe:
- Timing: Payouts are sent to your bank account on a rolling basis
- Schedule: Typically every 2-7 days, depending on your Stripe account settings
- Currency: Euros (EUR)
You can check your payout schedule in your Stripe dashboard.
Viewing your earnings
To see your ticket sales and earnings:
- Go to Host > Events
- Click on your event
- View the Attendees tab to see ticket sales
For detailed financial reports, visit your Stripe dashboard.
Refunds and fees
When you refund a ticket:
- The full ticket price is returned to the attendee
- The Weeknights platform fee is refunded to you
Tax considerations
Weeknights does not handle taxes. You're responsible for:
- Reporting income from ticket sales
- Paying any applicable taxes
- Keeping records of your earnings
