Sold-out event? You can still get in when someone's plans change.

Joining a waitlist

When an event is sold out, the Get Tickets button becomes Join Waitlist. Click it and you're in line - you'll see your position straight away (for example "#3 on Waitlist" on the event page).

A few things to know:

• You can join only when the event is actually sold out
• Waitlist spots are for one ticket at a time
• You can leave the waitlist anytime with Leave Waitlist on the event page

When a spot opens up

Spots free up when someone cancels, is refunded, or doesn't pay in time. When that happens:

1. The first person in line gets an email - "A spot opened up!" - plus a notification on Weeknights
2. That's your cue to book: head to the event page and get your ticket as normal
3. The spot isn't reserved for you, so book quickly - it's first come, first served

Once you're notified, you're taken off the waitlist and everyone behind you moves up a place.
