Getting started as a host
Welcome to Weeknights! This guide will help you get started hosting events and building your community in Amsterdam.
What is Weeknights?
Weeknights is a platform for social clubs and community events in Amsterdam. As a host, you can:
- Create and manage events
- Sell tickets or offer free RSVPs
- Build a club page to showcase your community
- Check in attendees at your events
- Get paid directly to your bank account via Stripe
Setting up your club
Before you can create events, you'll need to set up your club:
- Sign up or log in at weeknights.nl
- Create your club by going to the Host section
- Add your club details - name, description, and social links
- Upload a cover image to make your club page stand out
Creating your first event
Once your club is set up, you're ready to create your first event:
- Go to Host > Events > Create Event
- Fill in the event details (title, date, time, location)
- Set your ticket type (free or paid)
- If selling tickets, connect your Stripe account
- Publish your event
